I just put a Jardine on my Savage and I love it. There's been alot of talk about re-jetting but I live at 4700 elevation so we'll see. It hardly ever backfires, sounds like a beast now, runs the same and I love the sound - especially when it "grouls" when you roll off the throttle. Unlike others, I bought it for sound ONLY. The install is about as simple as you can get and I got mine for $150. I've seen them as low as $120 on the internet. The only thing is I really would've liked to use the stock cover(the cover over the clamp) but it just looked too tacky - so I used the one included with the Jardine. Bot it still looks great.
